MyWebWorkplace has a seriously powerful database structure
beneath its rather more calm, user friendly face. It is here
that the majority of the power comes. With smart data
management and manipulation, multiple modules actually share
various tables throughout the database. This is vaguely
interesting in itself but what it provides is a master stroke.
At the simplest level, usually with every new system you
implement you have to add your core data; your users and
groups/departments. With MyWebWorkplace, you do this once and
once is enough to share across all active modules including any new
ones. They are immediately 'live'. Just a few tweaks to
the preferences and you are ready to rollout.
More power comes from the integration found between
modules. All of our modules can share the benefits of each
other.
An example of some of these relationships might be:
- Documents being tagged against projects
- A new starter document pack being issued to a new
employee
- Absence requests being added into timesheets
- Absence approvals being compared against expected project
loads.
